AML & KYC Policy
Last updated: 19 June 2026
Blue Fox AI Tech Solutions is committed to preventing money laundering, terrorist financing and other financial crime. This Anti-Money-Laundering (AML) and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) Policy explains the checks we apply and the obligations you accept when you use our platform.
This document is a general template provided for transparency. It is not legal advice and should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer for your jurisdiction.
1. Our Commitment
We operate a risk-based AML and Counter-Terrorist-Financing (CTF) programme designed to detect, prevent and report suspicious activity, and to comply with applicable laws in the United Arab Emirates and other jurisdictions where relevant.
2. Scope & Framework
This Policy applies to every user, deposit, withdrawal and transaction on the platform. It is supported by internal procedures covering customer identification, monitoring, record-keeping, sanctions screening and reporting.
3. Know Your Customer (KYC)
Before you can transact fully, you must verify your identity. We may require:
- Full legal name, date of birth, nationality and residential address.
- A valid government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID or driving licence).
- Proof of address (such as a recent utility bill or bank statement).
- A selfie or liveness check to confirm the ID belongs to you.
4. Customer Due Diligence
We apply Customer Due Diligence (CDD) to all users and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) to higher-risk cases - for example, large transactions, unusual activity, politically exposed persons (PEPs) or users from higher-risk jurisdictions. EDD may require additional documents and checks.
5. Source of Funds & Wealth
You confirm that funds you deposit are your own, are from legitimate sources, and are not the proceeds of crime. We may ask you to evidence the source of funds or wealth and may decline or reverse transactions where satisfactory evidence is not provided.
Cash deposits and withdrawals carry a higher money-laundering risk and receive enhanced scrutiny: they are subject to additional identity and source-of-funds verification, may be limited in amount, and may be delayed or declined at our discretion or where required by law.
6. Sanctions & Prohibited Persons
We screen users against applicable sanctions, watch lists and for politically exposed person (PEP) status. We do not provide services to sanctioned individuals or entities, or to persons in prohibited or restricted jurisdictions. You confirm you are not such a person and are not acting on behalf of one.
7. Ongoing Monitoring
We monitor accounts and transactions on a risk basis for patterns that may indicate money laundering, fraud or other illegal activity, and may request information at any time to understand the purpose and nature of a transaction. Higher-risk channels - including cash and large or unusual transfers - receive closer review.
8. Suspicious Activity Reporting
Where we suspect money laundering, terrorist financing or other financial crime, we may report the activity to the relevant authorities. We are not permitted to inform you ("tip off") that a report has been or may be made.
9. Freezing, Delaying or Reversing Transactions
We may freeze, delay, refuse or reverse any deposit, withdrawal or account activity, and may suspend or close an account, where required by law or where we reasonably suspect fraud, money laundering, sanctions breaches or other illegal conduct.
10. Prohibited Conduct
You must not use the platform to launder money, finance terrorism, evade sanctions or taxes, structure transactions to avoid checks, or move funds from or for illegal activity. Any such use is a serious breach of these terms.
11. Record Keeping
We keep records of identification data, transactions and checks for the period required by applicable law, after which they are securely deleted or anonymised. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
12. Compliance & Training
Responsibility for AML compliance sits with designated personnel who oversee our procedures, screening and reporting. Staff involved in onboarding and transactions receive appropriate AML awareness guidance.
13. Your Obligations
You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information, to submit verification documents on request, and to cooperate with reasonable checks. Failure to do so may result in limits on, suspension of, or closure of your account.
